Cookie Policy
This page explains the current use of cookies and similar browser technologies on SpectrumPC.uk.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. Essential storage
The website uses strictly necessary authentication cookies to keep customers signed in and protect account actions. It also uses local storage for language and colour-theme preferences, and session storage to retain an optimiser result or restore catalogue position within the current browsing session. These technologies are not used to track activity across unrelated websites.
2. Payments, hosting and security
Netlify and Supabase may use strictly necessary technologies when delivering, securing and authenticating the service. Checkout redirects to Stripe, where Stripe may use its own necessary fraud-prevention and payment technologies under its policies.
3. Non-essential technologies
If you choose Accept analytics, we use a temporary identifier in session storage to measure public page visits, product views, broad device category and active time on pages. We do not include names, emails, IP addresses, query strings or payment details in our analytics records, or link them to customer accounts. Records are deleted after 90 days. We do not use advertising trackers.
4. Managing cookies
Choose Reject optional to browse without analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of a public shop page. Your choice, its date and the notice version are remembered in local storage for up to 180 days; clearing that storage resets the choice. A changed notice version prompts a new choice. When analytics is accepted, its date and version are included with analytics records. Withdrawal stops future collection. You can also inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent a requested feature from working. Contact spectrumpc.uk@gmail.com with questions about this policy.
